Overview Position Title: Adjunct Faculty- Economics Location: Fort Hood, TX (Campus Ft Hood) • Department: Social Sciences • Employment type: Part Time • FLSA: Non-Exempt • Hours: Part-time; total hours per week not to exceed 19.5 Summary of Position The part-time SOCIAL SCIENCE faculty is an instructional position directly responsible to the Dean, Military Operations. The instructor’s duties and responsibilities are teaching students and performing a variety of administrative duties. Minimum Required Education Master’s degree from a nationally, regionally, or state-level accredited institution of higher education, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Economics related to the coursework to be taught is required. Minimum Required Experience Experience in post-secondary teaching is preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Must possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught and the ability to communicate with students in a clear manner and to author tests and lesson plans.
