Overview

AVP Marketing (Chief Marketing Officer, Central Division) at Providence. This executive role focuses on driving overall marketing results, developing strategies to strengthen Providence's brand position, and leading large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver return on marketing investment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisor: Advise executive leadership on critical marketing initiatives and provide solutions to complex issues.
• Relationship Builder: Establish strong relationships across the organization to influence strategy development and communicate marketing progress.
• Strategic Planner: Lead the strategic planning and execution of system marketing efforts, including annual planning, priority setting, and budget alignment.
• Competitive Strategist: Drive competitive strategy to ensure growth in volume, revenue, and return on marketing investment.
• Trend Analyst: Oversee competitive environment analysis and communicate findings to leadership for strategic recommendations.
• Brand Strategist: Implement brand strategy, manage identity standards, and provide brand consultation in business discussions.
• Team Leader: Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team.

What You'll Bring

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Masters degree preferred. Equivalent education/experience considered.
• Experience: 10+ years in senior management leading successful marketing teams. Healthcare marketing experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication, collaboration, and team-building abilities; adept at building relationships and resolving problems.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to elicit, analyze, and communicate business requirements from diverse functions.
• Brand Expertise: Working knowledge of brand principles and identity management.
• Leadership: Confident, driven, dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset.
