Salary: $65,000 - 138,000 per year Requirements:

• I am looking for candidates with over 5 years of experience in application software development, including at least 2 years in the medical device sector or other regulated industries. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline is essential. Furthermore, you should have strong expertise in MATLAB for algorithm development and data analysis, along with proficiency in modern C++ (version 17 or newer), demonstrating skills in object-oriented programming, debugging, and design patterns. Hands-on experience with the Linux operating system, including command-line tools and CMake/build scripts within a bash environment, is crucial. Finally, the ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.

• In this role, I will ask you to design and create standalone medical device applications using contemporary C++ on Linux OS. You will lead the brainstorming, prototyping, design, and unit testing phases of application software. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, clinicians, and third-party partners, will be vital to enhance application functionality. You will conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and play a role in continuous software improvement. Participation in preclinical system experiments in laboratory settings, involving interactions with physicians and external stakeholders, will also be expected.
