Job Description
Responsibilities:
- New Client Onboarding: sending welcome email; scope of work, timeline expectations; processes; compliance date requirements
- Assembly and processing/e-filing of tax returns including client notification
- Managing Ignition payment system; ensuring accurate charges and record keeping
- Scheduling Advisory Meetings; manage timeline: expectations and standards
- Client Advocacy – Handling Client Queries and Concerns; Client Correspondence; Identify opportunities for additional services
- Initial review of Notices; response to client; draft response letter; determination of escalation
- SurePrep: binder processing
- Workflow management: timely responses to clients regarding questions, notices, meeting deadlines
- Documenting internal processes and procedures
- Conducting internal training on processes and procedures; trainings: Sureprep, WS, Practice Forward
Qualifications:
- Highly proficient in Adobe, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience in a CPA firm is a highly preferrable: knowledge of tax software, specifically CCH Axcess; tax preparation/support
- Experience with bookkeeping is a benefit
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in project management
- Proven excellence in a client-facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Technically savvy; understand CRM, research and implementation of new software systems
- Proactive problem-solver: Identify and address tasks and projects in advance to ensure timely and effective resolution
- Intellectually curious to improve processes and increase efficiency within the firm
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Effectively recognize and problem solve
- Detail oriented, self-starter with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges

This is an in-office position, open to a local candidate with a commute of 45 min. or less. No relocation.
In addition to salary, health benefits to the employee, paid vacation, we also offer a bonus and referral payouts.
