Summary Dr. Ciara Freeman at the esteemed Moffitt Cancer Center is on the lookout for a talented Clinical Data Engineer with expertise incrafting Snowflake pipelines. Join us in pioneering the next generation of regulatory-grade AI models in oncology—your expertise will be crucial in building the foundation of a groundbreaking translational AI program that transforms discoveries into meaningful patient impacts. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in cancer treatment and make a real difference in patients' lives. Ideal Candidate: 3–5+ years building production-grade data pipelines in healthcare or biotech. Strong SQL + Python skills; SnowPro Core cert a plus. Thrive in small, impact-focused teams. Experience with healthcare data (EMR, lab, imaging, omics) is a plus. Responsibilities: Build and maintain Snowflake pipelines powering real-time research and model training. Automate ETL/ELT workflows (dbt, Airflow, etc.). Implement data lineage, QC, and cost optimization. Collaborate with data scientists to ensure modeling readiness and regulatory compliance. Credentials & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Informatics, or a related quantitative field with five (5) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred). Or Master’s degree with three (3) years building data pipelines in production environments (healthcare or biotech preferred). Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core or Advanced) preferred.
