ABBA Roller is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 - CNC Grinder . This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys repetitive work and is comfortable working on their own in a group environment. Able to understand instructions and comfortable asking questions whenever necessary. Someone who understands the importance of accuracy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
\n
• Adhere to all quality assurance policies and procedures.
\n
• Communicate production and quality updates to supervisor and complete daily productivity reports as required.
\n
• Achieve daily production goals as required by production supervisor and program manager.
\n
• Adhere to all quality assurance policies and procedures.
\n
• Operate CNC grinding machine to achieve material removal on metallic and rubber products.
\n
• Operate CNC and manual grinding lathe to smooth or polish the surface of metallic and rubber products.
\n
• Load material onto CNC and manual grinding lathes using the proper tools and mechanisms.
\n
• Maintain product specifications by observing grinding operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, and replacing worn tools as necessary.
\n
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and notifying maintenance for repairs.
\n
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by production supervisor.
\n

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:

\n
• High School degree or GED equivalent
\n
• Minimum of 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or with machine experience
\n

\n

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and manipulate 40 lbs.
\n
• Excellent close and distant vision.
\n
• Ability to stand 8 hours plus per workday.
\n
