Salary:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing concrete surfaces to achieve high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, and the ability to operate specialized equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and fixing damage, filling cracks, and removing old adhesives.
• Utilize specialized floor grinders, dust extraction, various diamond pads (grits), and specific sealers/densifiers.
• Achieving high-gloss finish through multiple steps, with each stage building on the last.
• Perform surface preparation, including removal of coatings, adhesives, and imperfections, to ensure proper polishing results.
• Apply concrete densifiers, stains, dyes, and sealers according to project specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality, flatness, and consistency, making repairs as needed to meet appearance and performance standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including dust control, PPE use, and equipment maintenance, to maintain a clean and compliant job site.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in concrete polishing or related field, with minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to operate heavy polishing equipment and hand tools, knowledge of Husqvarna tolling is an advantage.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work on feet for extended periods.
• There will be some out-of-town travel.
