Position Summary

We are looking for a General Construction Worker (Lineman) to perform a wide variety of tasks on our job sites. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to enter the construction industry.

No previous experience is required. We provide comprehensive on-site training. You will have the unique opportunity to learn multiple trades—from carpentry to welding and heavy equipment operation—while getting paid.

Key Responsibilities

• General Construction: Perform basic carpentry, framing, and site preparation.
• Metal Work: Assist with metal fabrication and welding tasks (training provided).
• Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and construction equipment under supervision.
• Transport: Drive company trucks to transport materials, equipment, and crew members to and from job sites.
• Trade Support: Assist skilled tradesmen with electrical, mechanical, or structural tasks as needed.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring tools and equipment are organized.

Qualifications

• Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are the most important qualifications.
• License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Physicality: Ability to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform manual labor.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to job sites and stay in company-provided accommodations.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with a crew drawn from the Austin and Houston areas.
