Salary: 16-18

The Courier is responsible for transporting medical items from the Northern Colorado hub to the Central and Southern clinic locations. This includes loading items into the company vehicles, driving to the southern region of Colorado, and unloading items per company procedures. Additionally, couriers are responsible for properly caring for all the items in their possession.

Shifts:
The shifts are Monday-Friday occasional Sat as needed to cover other couriers. 8+ hour shifts.


Job Duties:
-Driving the company vehicle with strict attention to safety and efficiency
-Delivering the correct items to the correct destination
-Interacting with clients and co-workers in a polite and professional manner
-Loading items into company vehicle safely and securely
-Delivering items on time in an efficient manner
-Ensuring specimens, medicines, and/or documents are properly cared for and secured at all times
-Maintaining delivery records
-General care for the condition of the company vehicle
-Maintain vehicle maintenance
-Communicate with your supervisor and the main office through a mobile device
-Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:
-Successfully complete the training period
-Ability to operate vehicle safely
-Basic math skills
-Ability to read and write
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Must be age 21 or older
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and Motor Vehicles Report
-Submit to regular Breathalyzer Tests and random drug screens
-Comfortable driving in inclement weather
-Driving: 3 years (Preferred)

-High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Physical demands and Work environment:
-Be able to sit for long periods of time
-Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally; and /or up to 50 pounds frequently
-Considerable amounts of driving

All employees are required to be vaccinated
