Schedule Internal | Permanent Full Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid | 4 days in-office, 1 day remote Hourly: $20.19 Bonus: $1000 per quarter based on individual performance Job Summary The Business Operations Associate (BOA) is responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service to external customers as well as corporate and field office employees. The BOA is proficient in the management and collection of customer accounts receivable. Qualities include building customer relationships, conflict resolution, professionalism, detail oriented, strong follow‑up skills, multi‑tasking skills, the ability to use independent judgment, ability to function in an open environment and the ability to adapt to changes in the workplace. Essential Functions Management of customer accounts, including but not limited to invoicing, collections, PO tracking, customer service and working with clients to resolve outstanding issues Making routine welcome and maintenance calls to clients Develop and maintain customer relationships through weekly touchpoints Manage and maintain a multi‑million‑dollar book of Accounts Receivable Support liaison between field offices and other corporate departments Responsible for gathering the necessary data to assist management with account specific decisions Auditing account specific reports to ensure accurate billing and client specific information Work in an ever‑evolving environment that thrives on teamwork in order to achieve individual and team goals Work at the ground‑level gaining experience and insight into our business cycle for future career growth Perform various customer service‑related activities Gain experience using internal and external tools to audit, send and collect on invoicing Qualifications BA / BS degree in Business or Accounting preferred Ability to effectively work in a team‑oriented environment that is fair, open, honest, humble, competitive Thorough knowledge of business policies and account management practices Strong communication skills and work ethic Ability to balance daily workload through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills About Actalent With global headquarters outside of Baltimore, MD, Actalent has an existing network of almost 30,000 engineering and sciences consultants and more than 4,500 clients across the U.S., Canada, Asia, and Europe, including many of the Fortune 500.
