Work Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Longer hours will apply for tax season from January-April.
Skills / Requirements / Qualifications:
Prepares financial statements for clients.
Processes routine client data, including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Completes Payroll and quarterly reports.
Identifies and resolves payroll errors.
Prepares clients for tax season by compiling and entering their monthly and year-end financial information into the system.
Prepares tax returns for individuals, farming clients, partnership and corporate clients.
Respectfully handles confidential information.
Complies with applicable banking, insurance, investment, and tax laws and regulations.
Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to the completion of a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and three to five years’ experience in tax administration.
Effectively transfers calls, takes and delivers messages, and answers questions as appropriate.
Assists various departments with copying and organizing information. Some administrative assistance will be required.
Assists in the management of department schedules. Schedule and organize activities such as meetings and department/location activities.
Reviews Tax Return data for accuracy and completeness.
Communicates Tax Return information to clients.
