Overview Fleet Maintenance Manager – Oklahoma (Equity-Backed Growth Organization) Sequence has been exclusively retained and is currently seeking a capable Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee and lead the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of one of the nation’s most specialized and growing arboriculture fleets. This is a leadership opportunity to step into full fleet oversight during a period of rapid, equity-backed national expansion. Based in Oklahoma and reporting to senior leadership, this role manages a diverse and mission-critical fleet of equipment across multiple branches and maintenance operations nationwide. Responsibilities Oversee the complete lifecycle of a diverse fleet including service and bucket trucks, skytrims, mulchers, wood chippers, aerial lift devices, and other specialized vehicles essential to tree trimming and removal operations. Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across preventative maintenance, complex repairs, vendor management, compliance, and safety. Support multiple branch offices and maintenance operations across the country. Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians and mechanics; build systems to ensure maximum uptime, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. Ensure fleet readiness, reliability, and compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and DOT regulations. Oversee inventory management, fleet performance metrics, budgeting, and adherence to safety standards. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program aligned with business objectives and fleet performance goals. Qualifications Strong leadership and mechanical acumen with deep experience in heavy-duty equipment, hydraulics, and diesel/gasoline systems. Proven ability to supervise, train, and mentor technicians and mechanics. Strategic mindset to shape preventative maintenance programs and align fleet performance with business objectives. Experience managing safety and regulatory compliance in a growth-focused environment; willing to operate across a national footprint. Compensation and Benefits The organization offers a competitive base pay range of $125,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr , plus annual bonus and sign-on bonus .
