Health Coaching Specialist page is loaded## Health Coaching Specialistlocations: McLean, VAposted on: Posted 3 Days Agojob requisition id: R - 100300Position contingent upon contract awardAs the **Health Coaching Specialist**, you will design, implement, and monitor comprehensive health and wellness programs for cleared personnel, ensuring physical readiness and long-term wellness in a high security environment.**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*** Develop individualized and group fitness programs based on client goals, capabilities, and medical considerations.* Conduct fitness assessments, including body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and mobility screenings.* Lead group exercise classes and provide one-on-one personal training sessions.* Promote injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery strategies.* Track participation metrics and progress reports, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and classified protocols.* Educate personnel on nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene, and overall wellness.* Monitor and maintain fitness equipment and facility cleanliness according to safety standards.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:*** Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology, health sciences, or a related field.* Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or wellness coaching.Certification from a nationally recognized organization such as:* NSCA (CSCS or CPT)* NASM (CPT or PES)* ACE (CPT)* ACSM (EP-C or CPT)* CPR/AED and First Aid certified (must be current)**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Ability to work independently in a secure, high pressure environment* Experience working in secure or classified environments (military, IC, or defense community)**SECURITY CLEARANCE**: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph**Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC**Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC.
