Job Overview

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT

The format for this student program will be remote from September through April, meaning the student will work virtually. Remote work must be completed at a location based in the United States. Students who live in the Metro-Detroit area are welcome to work out of the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan, but this is not mandatory. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months (May through August), students may be relocated to the Stellantis Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI and may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Applications are accepted year-round, and student program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

The Stellantis Student Program offers a unique alternative to traditional summer internships by providing students with the opportunity to work year-round throughout their academic journey. This continuous engagement allows students to apply their classroom learning in real-world settings on a daily basis, fostering deeper integration within their teams and organizations. As they progress through the program, students are empowered to take on increasing levels of responsibility, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful contributions along the way. Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate’s background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. Students experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about graphic design, thrives in a dynamic environment, and isn’t afraid to push creative boundaries. You’ll be encouraged to keep momentum, deliver confidently, and refine along the way. You’ll work closely with the Talent Branding & Experience lead and gain exposure to key areas across the Talent organization.

What You’ll Do:

Design and produce visual assets for:

• Talent Acquisition campaigns (digital ads, landing pages, email graphics)
• Onboarding and internal communications
• Recruitment events and broader event visuals (banners, displays, giveaways, etc.)
• Presentation decks and storytelling materials
• Adapt designs to meet a wide range of needs while staying aligned with brand identity
• Bring a marketing mindset-anticipating needs, proposing ideas, and thinking beyond the brief
• Balance multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight timelines

What You’ll Learn:

• How to apply brand strategy and visual identity in a corporate setting
• How to collaborate across HR, Talent, and other corporate teams

Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing original design work. We’re looking for creativity, adaptability, and a spark of something unexpected.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
• Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round
• Beginner working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Portfolio showcasing original design work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or a related field
• Currently a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior at an accredited college or university at the time of hire
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience producing visual content for academic projects, internships, student organizations, or personal creative work
• Exposure to designing for digital platforms (social media, websites, email, etc.)
• A proactive mindset-someone who’s curious, takes initiative, and thinks beyond the brief
• Interest in how design can influence perception, engagement, or storytelling
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools or technologies as needed
