ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Roanoke, Virginia.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 13-week assignment with ASAP start preferred
\n• Work in 12-bed intensive care unit serving adult patients 18 and older
\n• Maintain 2:1 nurse to patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Provide care for patients after vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, or stroke
\n• Perform complex therapies including cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, arterial lines, CVP, and continuous cardiac outputs
\n• Operate Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and mechanical ventilation support
\n• Manage pacemakers and EVD drains for intracranial pressure monitoring
\n• Conduct NIH Stroke Scale assessments and ISTAT lab values
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Level 1 trauma experience required; Level 2 experience considered from large facilities
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Must work at least 1 holiday per assignment (2 holidays during winter season)
\n• Weekend coverage required
\n• Must submit all requested time off up front with application
\n• Christmas time off requests cannot be approved

As a certified stroke center and part of the Cardiovascular Institute, the facility provides comprehensive care with advanced monitoring capabilities and specialized treatment protocols. The unit operates 24/7 with dedicated support for vascular, thoracic, and stroke patients.
