Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) , three-phase motors , and a wide range of manufacturing equipment. This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our electrical systems and production machinery.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs , motor controls, and automated systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components, including three-phase motors , control panels, and wiring systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes , safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Document all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities accurately.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing setting.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) programming and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in three-phase motor systems and industrial power distribution.
  • Ability to work with various manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
  • Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Other Requirements:
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, MD.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.40/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jessup,MD.
