We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. If you’re friendly, reliable, and take pride in a job well done, apply now! Responsibilities:

• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
• Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions
• Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
• Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals

• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred
• This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products

We’re off I-271, four miles from the North Chagrin Nature Center. The Cleveland Museum of Art, the Severance Hall concert venue, and the shore of Lake Erie are all within 10 miles. Downtown Cleveland is 20 miles away.
