Lowell School is seeking a dynamic Guitar Instructor to work with students in grades K-8 , starting in September . The ideal candidate will be passionate about music education and skilled in playing and teaching guitar.. This position, which begins in September, works closely with the Director of After-School Music.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of music teaching experience
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Passion for working with children; ability to motivate and support children in reaching high levels of academic success
• Belief in the value of enrichment education for all children

Major Responsibilities:

• Selecting an age-appropriate repertoire
• Preparing students for performances
• Create dynamic lesson experiences to ensure students are challenged and inspired.
• Show evidence of adapting and differentiated instruction for all students
• Maintain complete and accurate records for attendance
• Develop and maintain genuine, positive, and consistent communication with parents.

The Expected Salary Range Is $60-$ 80/hour.
