As a polisher and buffer, you will begin in the grinding department, where you will use a hand grinder to smooth rough edges and polish metal surfaces to a high-quality finish. You will cross-train in basic fabrication, which includes cutting metal to length using a tape measure, operating brake presses, spot welding, buffing, and preparing items for painting. You will also assist in other departments as needed, such as assembly, packaging, and painting.
