Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent 15+ years of experience in product design Experience with embedded systems and microprocessor-based design Experience with functional aspects of product design including understanding of requirements, general electrical design analysis and documentation creation, design for manufacturing/design for test, and design verification Experience with leading teams including engineers from multiple engineering disciplines Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers Protocol-level knowledge of serial interfaces including SPI, I2C and UART Experience with analog design concepts and design tools such as SPICE and HyperLynx preferred Experience with RF communications such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11), and cellular Experience with high-speed digital interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, SATA, etc. preferred Experience in medical device design or other regulated industries preferred Experience with MS Office products including MS Project Ability to work with both internal and external (customer) resources Ability to analyze customer requirements for feasibility, cost and development timeline Strong communication skills including the ability to write technical specifications and design documentation, create and author templates for engineering documents, create project proposals with technical details, present verbally in one-on-one or group settings Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
