JRS Pharma LP is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing U.S. team. As a front-line leader within our MCCII manufacturing operations, the Production Supervisor plays a critical role in driving safety, quality, and performance across production lines. This position leads and develops a dedicated team of operators while ensuring that daily manufacturing goals are achieved in alignment with JRS Pharma’s high standards for compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Job title: Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day to day direction and operations of the production facilities. These responsibilities will be carried out in a manner that maintains the standards of the production plants in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices in a safe, efficient manner to produce quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate plant activities through planning/developing production schedules with corporate office to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner
• Distribute production schedules and monitor raw and packaging material 
• Prepare and review production reports and data
• Provide direction, development and leadership to all production, packaging and shredding personnel
• Monitor, review and approve production staff hours worked including overtime
• Work with Production Manager and Human Resources to coordinate hiring, training and disciplinary action
• Identify and effectively communicate to management conditions or events potentially requiring deviation, investigation, corrective action or change control documentation
• Assist with new hire reviews, one-on-ones and annual review
• Provide support and follow-up for third party and customer audits
• Collaborate with all departments on changes, process improvements, new packaging/products, capital upgrades and expansions
• Maintain and execute customer-specific information and instructions
• Assure compliance with Safety, OSHA and environmental guidelines
• Follow all FDA, GMP and ISO regulations/guideline  
• Develop, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Forms ? Execute other responsibilities and projects as required Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma, 4 year degree in a related field preferred
• Strong computer skills
• 3-5 years’ experience in a lead role in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; maintaining professionalism
• Should be physically able as job includes a certain amount of lifting and moving (~ 60 lbs)
• 24-hour-a-day availability essential 

Compensation details: 45-47.11 Hourly Wage
