Position Purpose: The Sales Executive, a member of Shred-its sales team, is responsible for direct sales of Shred-it's services to potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. This role involves managing all aspects of the sales process, including pipeline development, qualifying opportunities, managing sales cycles, closing orders, and ensuring revenue generation. The Sales Executive must adhere to Shred-it's policies, standards, and practices, aligning with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values. Territory includes San Francisco/Foster City, Mill Valley, Larkspur, and Marin. Key Job Activities: Aggressively sell document destruction services to prospective customers in the assigned territory. Collaborate with the District Sales Manager to develop and set specific, measurable sales targets monthly and annually. Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities within the territory. Create and implement a sales strategy for the territory. Maintain expertise in Shred-it services and competitive solutions. Generate leads through cold-calling, appointment setting, and direct mail campaigns. Participate in all sales and training programs offered by Shred-it. Apply best practices in selling solutions to prospects and existing customers. Support special projects and promotional campaigns under the guidance of the District Sales Manager. Report daily activities and sales results to the District Sales Manager. Follow all security and safety policies related to operations. Engage with customers to understand their needs regarding products and services. Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers. Exceed customer expectations by providing expert service. Perform additional duties as assigned. Experience (North America & LATAM): Post-secondary education preferred but not required. 1-2 years of sales or prospecting experience in B2B services preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong internet skills. Knowledge of sales theories and cycles. Ability to travel within the territory. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record per MVR policies.
