Job Summary

Novum Designs is currently searching for an experienced craftsperson/installer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be motivated, hard-working, a quick learner with the desire to enter and advance within this growing industry. If you have been a part of the contracting world but would like a position that is challenging but less physically demanding, this may be the perfect role for you..The ideal candidate would have experience in sign installation, carpentry, electrical services, and vinyl application.

Responsibilities/Qualifications may include, but are not limited to:

• Installing architectural, dimensional, way-finding signage, ADA signage, store front signs, large vinyl graphics, structural elements and many other products. Some installation and fabrication processes are very detail oriented.
• 3M Certified
• Candidate must be able to follow/take direction, and use common sense for quality outcomes and on-site trouble shooting.
• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (primarily day shifts but will occasionally need to perform installations after-hours).
• Must be mechanically inclined as the job duties will require light carpentry skills and knowledge of power and hand tools.
• Able to lift/carry heavy objects. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
• Ability to operate a 30’ bucket truck.
• A valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients when necessary.
• Dependable, professional, and solution oriented. A positive, can-do attitude.
• Extreme pride of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills.
• Good math skills.
• Must arrive to work on time and ready to work every day. Clean attire and appearance.

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

Required experience:

• Working in the installation/contractor trades/graphics industry

Required license or certification:

• Driver's License
