We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Special Event Coordinator/Marketing Manager to lead our event-based marketing initiatives in the Sacramento, CA market. This individual will play a key role in developing, executing, and optimizing our regional marketing and event strategies to drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support company growth.
Develop and manage a comprehensive annual calendar of consumer events, home shows, and regional marketing activations.
Identify, research, and negotiate participation in high-impact events within the assigned territory.
Oversee event logistics, including vendor management, booth design, setup/teardown coordination, and inventory management.
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Event Demonstrators to ensure consistent brand presentation and exceptional customer engagement.
Create and implement systems to track event performance, lead generation, and ROI; provide detailed post-event reports and strategic insights.
Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to align regional campaigns with overall brand strategy.
Maintain strong relationships with community organizations, event partners, and venue management to maximize exposure opportunities.
3–5 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or regional marketing management (home improvement or consumer products industry preferred).
Proven success in planning, executing, and analyzing large-scale marketing events.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate teams.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across departments.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
