Structural Engineer

Position Overview
The Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing structures for various commercial projects, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative solutions and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for commercial buildings including multifamily housing, condos, and apartments.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, reports, and drawings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project alignment.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify structural integrity and quality of construction.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred not required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and structural design software.
• Experience with multifamily, condos, or apartment projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
