Sonnet Montessori, now under new ownership, is committed to putting good humans into the world and leaving the world better than we found it.
We are seeking substitute teaching staff, both temporary and permanent, to add to our team of educators and caregivers.

We are interviewing individuals who can work at ANY or ALL of our locations (Lakeville, Prior Lake and Eden Prairie) but will interview all qualified candidates!
Responsibilities
Supervise and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
Follow daily schedule
Assist with daily routines including snacks, meals, diapering/toileting, and naptime.
Communicate effectively with staff and children in a warm and respectful manner.
Follow all school policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing standards.
Additional details?
Substitute teachers are considered "on call". When substitute hours become available, you will be notified, and you can accept or decline hours. To stay on our substitute roster, you must accept at least 5 sub requests per month.
Pay is DOQ
Sick time benefits: accrued 1 hour per 30 hours worked
Substitute teachers are ineligible for most other benefits, but inquire for details
There are opportunities for advancement and moving to a permanent position within the company, if the candidate wishes to do so.
Requirements
At least 18 years old with a GED/High School Diploma, CDA or some college courses preferred
First Aid and CPR certification (you have 90 days to get this done!)
Able to pass a background check
