Position: Surgery Scheduler Under the direction of the Medical Practice Manager, the Surgery Scheduler performs surgery scheduling and various routine clerical tasks. Responsibilities include: Overseeing insurance inquiries Performing pre-admission reviews and explaining deductibles and payments if necessary Scheduling surgery times with hospitals Scheduling physicals before surgery dates Working closely with the Office Manager and other staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems Maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, visitors, and staff PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network serving approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley regions.
