• Location: Springfield, IL 62702 (Illinois healthcare jobs)\n
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2540-$2610\n
• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 09/15/2025 – End: 12/15/2025)\n
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:30 – 19:00)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per contract\n
• On-call: Required as needed\n
• Charting System: Cerner\n
• Scrub Color: Provided\n
• Parking: Free with permit\n

\n\nRad Tech Job Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting\n
• Active Illinois state license (must be in hand at submission)\n
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS (AHA or Red Cross only)\n
• Experience with Cerner charting system\n
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique\n
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n
• Ability to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed\n
• Competency in middle and older adult patient care\n

\n\nCT | Rad Tech Responsibilities\n

\n
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, implant closure device, IABP placement/removal, left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, and rotablader athrectomy\n
• Set up equipment and maintain sterile field for procedures\n
• Interpret and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias\n
• Apply isolation precautions and infection control protocols\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner\n
• Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends as required\n
