\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• General emergency department combined adult/pediatric setting experience required
\n• 2 years of emergency department experience required
\n• Must have travel experience (first-time travelers accepted)
\n• Charge experience preferred
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• Every other holiday required
\n• Float within skillset as needed
\n• No on-call required
\n• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
\n• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB
\n• Required skills: Triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, care of ventilated patients, CPAP/BiPAP, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions
\n• Must have recent ED experience within past 8 months at facility with at least 45,600 visits per year
\n• Cerner EMR experience required
\n• Triage experience is mandatory
\n• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
\n• Daily census of 130 patients with 40 rooms/beds
\n• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
\n• Must have compact license or Maryland license
\n• Two supervisor references required
\n• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
