HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Bristol, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Description:

• Patient Ratio: 1:7 (must be pre-closed on this ratio before submission)
• Schedule: 4x12hrs
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Call: None
• Floating: Required to other units as needed
• Certifications: AHA BLS required; NIHSS preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience; community hospital experience required
• Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
• Residency Requirement: Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Orientation:

• Begins on Sundays (online CBLs)
• Traveler may start any Sunday once compliance documents are completed by the deadline

Scheduling Notes:

• Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty due to census decrease (applies to 36/36 or 36/48 schedules per agreement)
• Additional shifts beyond scheduled hours may be flexed as needed without penalty

Additional Responsibilities:

• Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to support nursing student education alongside regular clinical duties.
• Active participation in mentoring and preparing future nurses is an essential part of the role at Ballad Health.
