\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 13-week assignment duration
\n• Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 for PCU with goal ratio of 1:4
\n• Float occasionally to another PCU or medical-surgical level of care as needed
\n• Care for telemetry PCU patients specializing in hospitalist medicine, stroke, and neurology patients
\n• Work in Joint Commission certified primary stroke center
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
\n• Epic experience required - 1 year of nursing experience minimum
\n• Manage patients with chest tubes, IV drips (Cardizem, Heparin, Insulin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Nitro, Bumex, Lasix), trach care, PICC lines, and oxygen modes including CPAP and BiPAP
\n• Work with telemetry monitoring (remote telemetry with monitors on units)
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 25 patients
\n• Self-scheduling using Kronos system
\n• 32 hours of orientation provided
\n• Must work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment (2 holidays during winter: Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Years)
\n• All RTO must be submitted upfront with application
