\n\nJob Details:
\n• Float position covering IMC, Tele 1 (cardiac), Tele 2 (non-cardiac), and Medical/Surgical units
\n• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
\n• No on-call responsibilities
\n• Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per 6 weeks required
\n• Must have 3 years of experience and travel experience required
\n• Active Virginia license or Compact license required at submission
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Cardiac Telemetry
\n• NIH certification preferred
\n• PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
\n• Experience required: Management of Dysrhythmias, Telemetry monitoring, Rapid Response Teams, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Central Line Care, PICC Line Management, Heparin Protocols, Cardiac Drips management and titration
\n• Preferred experience: Starting IVs, Traumatic Brain Injury, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, Surgical Drains, Wound Care/Wound Vac
\n• Epic charting system experience required with EPIC training mandatory
\n• Care for pulmonary, cardiac and trauma patients requiring advanced airway management, tracheostomies, ventilators, high flow oxygen, BIPAP, cardiac drips, chest tubes and Zephyr Valves
\n• Treat patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, CHF, MI cases, unstable angina, pacemaker/ICD procedures, dysrhythmias, and medical/surgical overflow
\n• Smoke/nicotine free facility
