Shifts available:

• 6am-6pm
• 6pm-6am

Duties:

• Accurately interpret cardiac rhythm strips every 4 hours
• Report rhythm changes immediately to primary care nurse
• Operate speaker and phone system and complete emergency calls for staff
• Track monitored patients at all times
• Provides general administrative, clerical and support services to the clinical unit assigned
• Ensures optimal and safe patient care by supporting medical and nursing staff
• Keeps medical records and all patient care related documents secured and in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Greet visitors and direct them to patient rooms
• Performs receptionist duties

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Basic EKG Monitoring Course.
• Previous experience in rhythm interpretation, previous experience as a Telemetry Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of monitoring equipment.
