The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) at Providence Alaska Medical Center provides direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and charge nurses, ensuring a safe and clean environment that supports patient-focused care. This role requires certification, completion of medical terminology training, and current BLS certification. Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Up to $2,500 hiring bonus for eligible full-time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
