divh2Crunch Fitness Instructional Designer/h2pThis role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. If youre near our Jacksonville, FL, New York, NY, Portsmouth, NH, or Dallas, TX offices, we follow a hybrid model with three days a week in the office. The Instructional Designer is responsible for the planning and development of innovative, engaging, and interactive learning modules with a primary focus on eLearning to create scalable, measurable learning solutions that drive performance and behavior change. This includes, but is not limited to, gamification, creating video, animations, simulations and graphics to drive impact and continue to elevate our learning experiences across the network. The Instructional Designer will apply sound instructional design principles to execute on the development and implementation of learning projects./ph3Instructional Design Content/h3ulliCreate innovative, engaging, and interactive training content (eLearning, microlearning, blended learning, tutorials, voiceovers, graphics, simulations, animations, etc.) to support diverse learning styles/liliApply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methodologies/liliRecommend exercises and activities that enhance the learning process/liliCreate supplemental job aids as needed/liliSource and/or create images and visuals to enhance the learning experience/li/ulh3Curriculum Design SME Collaboration/h3ulliCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate curriculum and eLearning materials/liliPartner with SMEs to write and develop eLearning content that maximizes retention and supports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/liliEnsure training meets the needs of a multigenerational workforce with varying levels of experience and expertise/li/ulh3Project Management Delivery/h3ulliManage all project timelines and coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure schedule adherence/liliAct as project manager throughout the full lifecycle of eLearning course development/liliManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines/liliMaintain project documentation and course folders/liliEnsure projects are delivered on time and within budget/li/ulh3Learning Management System (LMS) Platform Engagement/h3ulliTest and launch all new and updated courses/liliManage the informal learning area of the LMS by creating and posting videos, animations, and images/liliDrive LMS adoption and promote a culture of continuous learning/li/ulh3Quality Assurance, Maintenance Troubleshooting/h3ulliMonitor company process changes and proactively update existing eLearning content/liliTroubleshoot issues related to eLearning courses/liliEnsure accuracy, functionality, and relevance of all learning materials/li/ulh3Communication Change Enablement/h3ulliDraft network communications announcing new or updated courses/liliSupport learners and stakeholders during course launches and updates/li/ulh3Training Evaluation Effectiveness/h3ulliMonitor training activities and assess training effectiveness/liliEvaluate learning outcomes and alignment with business objectives/li/ulh3Coaching, Mentorship Team Support/h3ulliProvide coaching and mentoring to team members on instructional design best practices and methodologies/liliSupport learning development and implementation across the team/li/ulh3Research, Innovation Continuous Improvement/h3ulliResearch and stay current on learning and development software, technology, and industry best practices/liliContinuously recommend improvements to learning strategies and tools/li/ulh3Administrative Special Projects/h3ulliPerform business needs./ppWhat Youll Need Requirements/pulliBS or MA degree in instructional design, multimedia design, graphic design art or similar/liliProven work experience in instructional design and with instructional technology such as Articulate, Adobe Captivate or Camtasia/liliStrong project and budget management experience/liliExcellent knowledge of adult learning concepts and instructional design methodologies/liliLesson and curriculum planning skills/liliSolid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System/liliVisual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard/liliAbility to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts/liliProven work experience downloading SCORMs and uploading to LMS systems/liliProven ability to translate complex or technical content into simplified, engaging learning experiences/liliStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skills/liliStrong attention to detail skills/liliExperience in gamifying e-learning experiences/liliExperience with software to create motion graphics and other engaging elements to level up courses/li/ulpBonus
