You’ll be working in a full-time, temporary role producing high-quality products, ensuring reliability and efficiency in all operations. You will be a highly skilled and experienced time served instrument technician with high competency in instrument work. With a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement and safety, you will maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation systems essential to manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and control systems for optimal performance and compliance Identify and troubleshoot instrumentation faults to minimize downtime Assist in installing, commissioning, and validating new instrumentation equipment Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with policies Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, and repairs; prepare detailed reports Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest system enhancements Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams for seamless operation Qualifications and experience: A relevant technical qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3) in instrumentation, control, or a related field Proven experience as a time served instrument technician within a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Proficient in the use of instrumentation and calibration tools Knowledge of process control systems and automation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Additional Information: Location: Billingham, Co Durham Contract Type: Contract or Temp Closing Date: May 22nd, 2025 Ref: 1593071 Interested?
