Oral Surgeon

Location: Asheville, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Scheduling)
Schedule: 4.5/Week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, biopsies, and corrective jaw surgery.
• Evaluate patients' medical and dental histories and develop personalized surgical treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with general dentists, orthodontists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and follow-up needs.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Active (or eligibility for) dental license in the state of North Carolina.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
