Summary

Redeemer Lutheran CDC is a faith-based childcare center dedicated to nurturing and educating children in a safe, loving, and engaging environment. Our team works together to create a positive community for children, families, and staff. We’re seeking team members who bring patience, flexibility, and joy to their work every day.

Duties

• Care for children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Support learning through play, routines, and daily activities
• Partner with lead teachers and teammates to keep classrooms running smoothly
• Build relationships with families by sharing children’s progress and milestones
• Keep classrooms organized, fun, and welcoming

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• A love for children and patience for little learners
• Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude
• Ability to pass a background check (per VA licensing)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• CPR/First Aid certification (not required)
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework (not required)
• Willingness to work across age groups
