LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in NE Portland, OR on a Regional Operations Manager job. • Drive performance in productivity, delivery, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction by collaborating directly with Branch-level teams.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility and all operations at 3 manufacturing sites in 3 states, manage expenses, and implement Lean practices to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop teams with a hands-on, people-first approach, prioritizing coaching and collaborative leadership over top-down management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality systems, including training and adherence to EEOC, OSHA, and WIHA regulations.
• Oversee the health of equipment, personnel, and plant processes, working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering strongly preferred
• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing P&L for a location or business unit

Skills:

• Hands on leadership style – lead through presence, accessibility, and mentoring
• Strong communication skills from front line production team members through executive leadership
• Working knowledge of metals, CNC machining, saws, etc

About the role:

• Full Time, Direct Hire
• Mon – Fri; 8a-5p
• Primarily onsite role with 50% travel – 2 weeks of the month in 2 different states
• Comp / Benefits – 125-150K DOE; company performance bonus potential, employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k

Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
