Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to various product lines as required.

- Maintain/update/design LabView test programs used in test areas.

- Write DFT/DFM analysis reports and test procedures on customer products.

- Design test fixtures and/or test methods to increase product flow.

- Liaison between customer, test department, manufacturing and engineering.

- Assist technicians in diagnosing/analyzing defective assemblies.

- Train test personnel on new and existing product testing and data collection.

- Oversee Flying Probe operations including training, CAD translation, programming

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving

mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is

Competence:

To be determined by the possession of a required skill such as soldering/testing/troubleshooting,

product knowledge gained through on the job training, qualification such as IPC/JSTD, or the

ability to build and test to customer prints/requirements. Competence will be validated by product

passing Final QC and meeting all customer supplied drawings and product specifications. To

evaluate the effectiveness of the actions taken shall be demonstrated in the employees

review cycle.

Training:

All that is required to allow the employee to gain competence in his/her job function. This is

determined by each individual Supervisor/Manager and is to be entered in the employee

training matrix and validated by the training record form.

Requirements:

- BSEE from a college/university with 10 plus years of related manufacturing

experience. Equivalent work experience will be considered. ISO familiarity a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of digital/analog circuitry and able to read schematic drawings.

- Familiar with the use of various types of test equipment such as DMM, LCR,

oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, etc.

- PC literacy with spreadsheets and word processing.

- Strong verbal/written communication skills and organizational skills.

- Familiar with LabView/TestStand software.

- Familiar with ICD3/PICit 3/JTAG and other programming tools.
