Position Details\nUnit: Emergency Department Observation Unit

\nYears of Experience: Minimum 2 years in nursing, with specific experience in ED and/or ER Holding required.
\n\nPatient Care Responsibilities\nThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:4.
\n\nRequired Experience\nThe Emergency Department Observation Unit has a daily census of 32 patients, with a total of 32 beds available. The unit provides support from an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams.
\n\nOrientation and Training\nHours of Orientation: 36 hours provided for onboarding and training.
\n\nPatient Demographics\nThe unit serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
\n\nSpecial Procedures/Unit Details\nExperience in ED and/or ED Holding/Observation is required for this position. There will be no requested time off from February 15, 2026, through February 28, 2026.
