Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit in Akron, OH. This is a full-time, 13-week contract position with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MedSurg/Tele and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, monitor vitals, and assess patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor telemetry patients, recognizing and responding to cardiac rhythms and changes in condition.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and ongoing health management.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies.

Requirements:
Active RN License (Ohio or Compact License)
BLS & ACLS Certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 2 years recent experience in MedSurg/Telemetry
