Job Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of systems and structures to help keep our facility running smoothly. If you’re a hands-on problem-solver with a strong work ethic and a knack for fixing things, we want to hear from you!

Hourly Rate and Schedule:

• $25.50 - $27.50 per hour (based on experience)
• 6:00am-3:00pm EST (start/end times varies based on weather, coverage, and operation needs)
• Must be willing to travel as needed to locations (ex. Sinking Springs, PA) for maintenance as needed.
• Located in Carlisle, PA

Essential Functions and Basic Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair PIT equipment (forklifts, manlifts/cherry pickers)
• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and basic repairs
• Conduct daily physical inspections of PIT equipment
• Perform general facility repairs, including painting, drywall, basic plumbing, racking, etc.
• Handle seasonal groundskeeping tasks: mowing, weed trimming, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
• Use company truck to travel between facilities
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
• Valid PA driver's license required
• Previous warehouse or building maintenance experience preferred
• PIT mechanic experience (forklift and manlift/cherry picker) required

Job Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to recognize letters and numbers
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds as required
